Park Air T6 VHF/UHF Radio

The world's leading ground-to-air radio, packed with the latest technology, the T6 offers outstanding performance for VHF/UHF coverage.

The T6 radio sets the standard for high levels of safety, efficiency and performance, all in a compact unit.

Compact and Powerful

You can choose from a full range of transmitters, receivers and transceivers in VHF and UHF models, for both civil and military settings.

Each model is highly flexible and adaptable for any ATM scenario, be it small towers, country-wide networks or international operators.

All of this is captured into the smallest lightest package we have ever produced.

Features and Benefits

Reduced Life Costs
Significant increase in efficiency and lower power consumption. The combination of up to ten-year service interval and fifteen years lifetime service equates to lower ownership costs.
Unrivalled RF Performance
Improvement in RF design has resulted in better interface and co-site performance in the increasingly crowded radio spectrum, reducing the need for external filtering and, in many cases, eliminating it completely.
Remote Firmware Update
Reduced need for site visits with remote update capabilities. Significant reserves of on-board computer power supporting future upgrades.
Simplified Installation and Usability
Significantly reduced size and weight, enabling more channels to be located in a cabinet. Innovative slide and lock mounting system, meaning no tools are required for cabinet installations.
Safety
Flexible main/standby features, including integral RF/line changeover and interfaces for external changeover units. The T6 Radio continually monitors its own environment and performance. If issues are detected, the radio decreases its power output and alerts the operator with diagnostic information.
Security
Our most secure radio to date, featuring front panel screen and interface port locks. Support for the latest secure web protocols, including SNMP v3 with enhanced encryption and authentication, and a secure webserver interface with HTTPS.
Connectivity and Expansion
Three independently addressable IP ports, supporting autonomous network connectivity and easy browser access to the built-in maintenance web-server. IPv6 core capability, VoIP audio and ‘monitor and control’ data is based on IPv6 (also supports IPv4), ensuring compatibility with latest-generation networks and systems.
Software Defined Waveforms
As well as traditional AM-Voice, a number of data waveform options are also available, anticipating the continued growth in data-link services. These include ACARS, VDL-M2 and Wideband AM Data.
Intuitive User Interface
High resolution OLED graphic display, main rotary input control, context-specific soft buttons and indicator icons. Visual indications of radio activity to accompany audio, as well as loudspeaker to monitor voice transmissions.
Environmental Performance
Reduced power consumption. Designed and manufactured to the ISO 14001 standard.
